OFS FAQ

Please read this entire page before writing to inquire about membership.

What is OFS? OFS is a Denver-based Demonolatry sect. We also run the Demonolatry Book Source Project that serves to provide resource material to demonolators nationwide.

Who is behind OFS? Click here to learn more about some of our members. Our current members ages range between 30-41 years old.

When does OFS meet? We meet on an irregular schedule (i.e. when we have time).

Is OFS a real world group or an internet group? We are a real world group. This means we are not an internet based organization, nor do we hand out memberships to people over the internet.

Does OFS allow or promote bigotry, violence, discrimination, brain-washing (i.e. cultism) or require hefty donations? No.

Does OFS allow out-of-state members? Yes, in special circumstances. We must know the person VERY well. Otherwise - no.

Is OFS open to new members? We are currently open to new members but we're not actively seeking to recruit either. We prefer quality vs. quantity when it comes to bringing in new members.

What are OFS's membership requirements? Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

What should I expect from the interview? What you can expect during your initial interview is an in depth discussion of your beliefs (and ours). You will be asked about your studies in, and experiences with your alternative belief system. You will be given the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We may ask to see your ID for verification of age (especially if you are blessed with young looks).

What are you looking for in potential members?

Does membership require dues or donations? No. We do not believe it should cost anyone $$$ to practice their faith. There are no annual dues for membership, nor do we expect donations. However, there may be a $10-$20 fee each time a member advances in degree because of the cost for initiation pendants or degree collars, patches, or pins. It is the member's responsibility to purchase their own robes, prayer cords, and any training materials they need. Members may obtain Demonolatry books and materials at the wholesale price from the priesthood.

Does OFS accept theistic Satanists into the Order? Yes, we are open to having members who are theistic Satanists.

What are the core beliefs of OFS? Our members have varied personal beliefs with the core being hermetic/gnostic Demonolatry as is traditional for our tradition, and many work with various gods/daemons including hierarchies Western Semitic, Egyptian, Goetic and Dukante. Our goal is to foster self-knowledge, personal spiritual growth through Demonolatry, and a sense of community among Demonolators throughout Metro Denver.

Which Rites are observed? Our calandar includes the following Rites*:

*Only Initiated OFS Sect Members may participate.

Do you have legal clergy? Yes. Please note that when people often ask about "Legal Clergy" they are asking if we're registered and/or able to perform legal wedding ceremonies and if we're recognized in our State as Clergy. Yes, we are. This means we are also recognized as clergy by local hospitals and funeral homes/chapels, thus making it easier to serve our members.

Does OFS have a training program? Yes. Those local individuals who do make it through the interview will have the option of taking pre-initiate training and will be allowed to attend all non-rite meetings until after the initiation occurs. If a person chooses to take pre-initiate training, initiation occurs once the Sacerdotium decide a person is ready for initiation, and after pre-initiate training is completed. Some people may require pre-initiate training, others won't.

What the OFS isn't: We are not a dating service or Christian bashing group. When we get together we discuss Demonolatry and ritual work. We do NOT practice sex magick, nor sacrifices (so please don't ask). We are not into "evil" or the christian version of satan. If you believe you are a demon, becoming a demon, are possessed by a demon or you think you are the antichrist, do not bother contacting us.

Can I bring my children to OFS interviews, meetings, or Rites? No. We ask that members do not bring their children to meetings or Rites unless the gathering is specifically family oriented.

What is OFS's stance on use of illegal substances and alcohol? OFS is a DRUG FREE sect. We do not encourage nor condone illegal substance abuse. Light alcoholic beverages might be served at group meetings. We encourage moderation when drinking at meetings.

Can OFS recommend any reading material? The Complete Book of Demonolatry as well as The Hermetica: Lost Wisdom of the Pharaohs by Freke and Gandy, and The Egyptian Book of the Dead (not the Budge translation!).

Can OFS send me additional literature regarding OFS? Being that we're a small group, we DO NOT have brochures or packets or anything fancy like the organizatons who are trying to recruit.

How can I inquire about joining OFS? We are only interested in serious and sincere LOCAL inquiries. E-Mail us using the link above with any questions or inquiries.

May Lucifer light your way.
