Discounts: All our Darkerwood and DB titles may be purchased by bookstores or groups in bulk at a discount. 25+ Must be purchased in order for discount to take effect on some titles. Write for inquiry.

We are very selective and picky in what we choose to publish. Preference is given to authors whose work we know, and experienced authors whose work has been published elsewhere. Very rarely do we publish the work of first time authors or books that are "mainstream". We prefer non-fiction books that your average publisher would find too controversial, or with too narrow an audience. For fiction, we will only consider reprints and possibly original fiction if it is a continuation (series work) of a novel we reprinted. So never before published fiction will be hard, if not impossible, to place with us. We accept no unsolicited manuscripts.
Darkerwood Publishing Group was started in 1995 by Kim Anderson to publish niche and short-run printings of odd non-fiction and unique niche books by experts.
In 2006, Darkerwood Publishing Group started to publish more than one title a year thanks to available POD technology. We have chosen to use Lulu as our printer because there is no up front cost to produce our books this way. But rest assured we work hard toward producing books that can compete with the books being released from larger publishers. At some point in the future we'll likely switch to Lightening Source to extend our distribution. But for right now, we're content to be small.
2006 also heralds our first attempt at publishing fiction with S.J. Reisner's Sorcerers' Twilight Series starting with the paperback reprint of the highly acclaimed, Left Horse Black, and a paperback reprint of Dana Reed's terrifying mystery Unholy Alliance.
In May of 2006, long time editor for Darkerwood, S. Connolly, helped to open a new horizon for Darkerwood Publishing Group, by introducing DB Publishing, our occult, spirituality, and religion imprint. These books, so far, have been our strongest sellers. DB Publishing also has a large selection of titles that are only available through their online store HERE.
